Find hidden items using scent!
Work with your dog to search for hidden objects quickly and systematically, just like a gundog team. The objective is to locate all the hidden objects as fast as possible. Nose Quest takes inspiration from the methodical way gundogs search for game in close proximity to their handler. The handler guides the dog to ensure the area is thoroughly searched and every hiding spot is checked before moving on. In Nose Quest, instead of birds and rabbits you will be searching for either tennis balls (beginner levels) or human-scented objects (more advanced levels).
Follow a scent trail to locate the elusive ‘Sniffit’.
The Sniffit is a small object, lightly scented with aniseed oil, hidden at the end of a scent trail. Your dog’s mission? Follow the trail with precision, locate it, pick it up gently but confidently, and deliver it straight back to you. Inspired by real retrieve scenarios from the shooting field, where fallen game may have moved and hidden. Sniffit Trail encourages your dog to truly use their olfactory superpower, working in partnership with you. It’s not about speed alone, it’s about connection, communication, and thoughtful teamwork. The result? A deeply satisfied, mentally fulfilled, happily snoring dog at the end of the day. Ready to see what your dog is capable of?

This workshop focuses on training that works around real-life distractions, not perfect positions or show-ring precision.
