Introducing you to the fun new dog sport of Scurry Dog!
Scurry Dog is a Gundog based fun new dog sport with five exciting games and five levels of progression. The Games are based on skills that gundogs need in the field, adapted for all types of pet dog to enjoy.
Kirk's Canine Academy is delighted to be hosting qualified Scurry Dog Instructor Hayley Griffiths for a 3 hour practical in-person workshop on Sat 28th June at 10.00-13.00, at a fantastic 60x40m indoor venue near Cross Hands - Silverstone Equestrian.
Stimulation and Connection
Incorporating elements of scentwork, retrieves and practical life skills, Scurry Dog Games are built to meet the needs and talents of any active breed, but especially pet working and gundog breeds. Scurry Dog employs dogs’ natural superpowers, and fulfils them on a deeper level. Training towards Scurry Dog also brings fulfilment to the humans who crave that deep working connection with their dog.

Scurry Dog is a modular dog sport, meaning handlers and dogs can progress through levels, earning points and badges. With a growing international community and workshops taking place all over the UK, a network of Instructors will soon start to run classes and trials.

Course Curriculum
Instructor: Hayley Griffiths
From a young age, Hayley developed a strong connection with dogs. Over the years, she has expanded her experience and expertise by taking various courses with a wide range of well known canine training providers.
Hayley is now a certified IMDT trainer, an Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy Instructor, a qualified Scurry Dog Instructor, and an Enigma Canine Trusted Instructor for both Mantrailing and Trail Hunt International.
