Teenage Terrors Course - Jan
A 6 week course helping you through adolescent awkwardness! @ Silverstone Equestrian on Weds evenings
Course Summary
Between the approximate ages of 6 and 24 months, your puppy's behaviour can sometimes become more challenging as their brain goes through natural developmental changes associated with adolescence.
Their previously great recall might become a little bit less reliable, they might start to listen to you to less in general, and you might find yourself faced with an array of different possible behavioural challenges that you thought you'd managed to get on top of.
This 6 week course is designed to help you navigate this tricky period and help you survive to your puppy's adulthood with your sanity (mostly) intact! We'll focus on continuing to build on the useful day-to-day skills like Loose Lead Walking and Recall, spend a lot of time developing stimulus control, build up their ability to stay calm and settled around distractions, and even work on the odd fun trick or two!
It's delivered through 6 x 60 mins in-person classes, and these are supported with access to recap videos and other useful resources to maximise the success of training at home in between sessions. You are never alone in your training as there is an abundance of useful resources and advice at your finger tips!

Alistair Kirk
Alistair has been a professional Dog Trainer and Behaviour Practitioner since 2018, and has been training and working with dogs since 2009. He is passionate about promoting the use of non-forceful training methods and the benefits - and effective results - that they offer.
He is:
- - a fully accredited trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT)
- - an Approved Dog Trainer with the Dog Training College (DTC-ADT)
- - a fully qualified Dynamic Dog Practitioner (DDP) and member of the Association of Dynamic Dog Practitioners (ADDP)
- - a Blue Level Instructor and Level 1 Judge with the World Scent Dog Association (WSDA).
He also holds certificates in Canine First Aid and Advanced (Human) First Aid, and has Public Liability Insurance.
